Card Factory, the UK’s fastest growing greetings card and gift retailer, has opened their new store at 5Rise shopping centre in Bingley, offering quality greetings cards at value prices.
Based on the success of stores in Shipley and Bradford, the new store will stock greetings cards for every occasion, in an ever changing range of classic and contemporary designs, whilst creating 8 new jobs.
Card Factory’s Corporate Development Director, Andy Garbutt said: “We’re delighted to be bringing a Card Factory store to 5Rise, Bingley. In uncertain economic times the general public demands ever increasing quality but also wants to see better value for money. Card Factory has always worked on both principles and that has led to the company becoming the fastest growing card retailer in the UK today.”

Now boasting a footfall of 37,500 people per week and with plans afoot for a major Sainsbury’s store just opposite in 2012, 5Rise is in a very strong position to attract more high street tenants to enhance the existing retail mix.
Tenants include Co-operative Food, Home Bargains, Santander, Greggs, Timpson, Betfred, Boots, Klick and NatWest. Jaldi Jaldi, which is a fast food offering for the famous Mumtaz restaurant will also open at 5Rise in the coming weeks.

Bingley has a resident population of just under 20,000 people and a population within 10km of the centre of 406,750 persons (2001 census).

Bingley’s ACORN profile is dominated by Secure Families (18.8%) and Blue Collar Roots (13.7%).
Bingley has more Wealthy Executives and Flourishing Families than the Yorkshire and Humber average.
