5RISE Bingley

Since its official re-opening in December 2009, 5Rise is once again the main retail focus of Bingley, a thriving marketing town in Yorkshire.

Of great importance to the local community, the redevelopment of 5Rise marks the much needed regeneration of retail facilities in the town that has been long overdue. Following a number of failed promises from previous owners, 4Urban has completed the long awaited redevelopment and secured 65% occupancy, despite the current economic climate.

A major £5 million regeneration project, 5Rise now offers circ 60,000 sq ft of new and refurbished retail space across 18 individual shop units. The anchor tenant is a brand new 12,000 sq ft Co-operative food store and will be shortly joined by Home Bargains, Santander and Browns Café Bar as well as existing retailers such as Boots, Natwest, Greggs, Superdrug, Timpsons, Klick, and Betfred.

Formerly known as Myrtle Shopping Centre, the site was purchased by 4Urban in April 2007, redevelopment began in September 2008 and as promised, on time and on budget the development was physically completed in October 2009.
